As Motor-homers travelling through Spain we have been fortunate on the places we have stopped for a meal or drink. Algari Taberna is one of those top places, from the moment we arrived until we left. We only speak English which was not a problem, we enjoyed several glasses of Vino with our Pintxo and also had the chance to have the special cocktail that was being enjoyed by locals. Time was taken to explain what we were drinking/eating and also helped translate customers that also talked to us. A true local experience. When you travel, your best memories are of experiences and our visit here will be part of those memories. Highly recommend stopping here during your visit to Elorrio.
Lovely evening in busy local restaurant/bar. Obviously popular as pretty full (Saturday night). Good Basque specialties. Sheep’s milk curd pudding esp delicious. Staff excellent. (One starter, 2 mains,, 2 puds, 3 draught beers and 2 wines)
If you are a lover of him, you will be prepared a vermouth with mime and carefully following each step....but you can also take advantage of the finds to ask for rabas, sea or or orchard... or some very rich pintxos... to highlight the tares that triumph.
Very agusto and very good waiters.
The best site of the elorrium to taste some pintxos in condition. the best rabas and empanadillas of the area, good terrace and better family and close atmosphere of the staff. 100 percent recommended.
