Grand River Restaurant - Elora

The Grand River Chop House may be a little off the beaten path, but it's worth the trip. They exclusively serve locally sourced beef from a single farm, ensuring high quality meat that is free of hormones and antibiotics.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic - hot, fresh, and you can tell it's all made in-house. We tried the Canadian burger and wings.

The food quality here is fantastic at this amazing restaurant. The only option you need to know is the ABC Burger.

We thought we'd give the Saturday morning breakfast special a try.We were seated quickly, but waited for quite a long while for a waitress to appear to take our order. ( suggestion to any breakfast place, bus person could serve coffee immediately, as most people want it)Speaking of coffee, I had to ask two different waiters for a refill when finally a third person brought us some.The actual food was pretty good, I particularly liked the hash browns.Perhaps the wait staff could have a little workshop on service?

We stood almost 10 min waiting to be seated while a waitress looked and walked by us 3 times.When finally we were,the food took FOR AGES to come out ( heaven help them if they were real busy ) and the food was luke warm. This is a racetrack/casino setting so they need to step it up. We won"t go back.
