Hands down the best Italian beef in Chicago. Johnnie is an institution and a must for anyone living in Chicago. Your beef has so much taste and the bread keeps beautiful. Their French fries are perfectly thin and fried. Hot peppers are hot! And nothing is more satisfying that her lemon ice cream. Fair warning it gets pretty busy during peak hours. Delicious Italian Beef sandwiches, seasoned perfectly! Bring Cash though, the establishment has not reached the level of customer convenience of accepting credit cards yet, never has.
