Uzzal - Elmbridge

During our trip to the United Kingdom, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a curry. While staying in Hersham, we were recommended Uzzal and decided to give it a try one evening. Unable to find the menu online, I went to the restaurant to check it out before ordering. The decor was typical of a modern South Asian restaurant. The extensive menu included a good selection of vegetarian dishes. We ordered the chana masala with chickpeas in a delicious tomato sauce, the soft aubergine bhaji, and the saag paneer with spinach and cheese. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying. We enjoyed our meal at Uzzal and would recommend it to others.
