Contribute FeedbackAt Pizza Express, patrons encounter a blend of experiences ranging from friendly service to disappointing meals. While the atmosphere is often inviting and staff can be engaging, concerns arise over overpriced drinks and inconsistent food quality. Some guests have faced underwhelming pizzas, with sparse toppings that left them feeling cheated. Service speed can be slow, particularly when takeaway orders take precedence over dine-in customers. However, there are bright spots, such as delicious pizzas and attentive service from certain staff members, making for a varied dining experience. Ultimately, the restaurant’s potential lies in its team and menu, despite its drawbacks.
No doubt it’s the best pizza express out there! Other restaurants should take note how to deliver. Keep up the good work !
Great friendly staff and a nice pizza, what more is there to say. Quite expensive for a pizza but also worth it.
I was shocked by my order at this restaurant. I tried to take a photo, but the website wouldn't allow me to upload it. I ordered a seafood/prawn pizza, but it came with no base or toppings except for a small shrimp on each slice - a total of only six tiny shrimps. It was a complete rip-off. This business is going downhill. I will not be ordering from them again, and I have warned others not to either. It felt like a scam.
My family and I arrived at 8:15 for a party of 5 at the restaurant. We had to ask to have our order taken, and when we did order, we were informed that there was a missing ingredient for a tuna nicoise dish. We requested broccoli as a substitute, but were later told that there was no broccoli available. One of our dishes was missing when our meals arrived, and when we reached dessert, a third of the menu items were not available. The manager had already instructed the staff to go home and was clearly trying to close up for the night, even though it was only 10pm. The food itself was satisfactory, but the service made us feel unwelcome and as though we were an inconvenience to the staff. While I understand that working in a restaurant may not be the most glamorous job, dining out as a family is a special occasion and we just wanted to feel welcomed. I recommend trying out an independent restaurant where your business will be appreciated.
Tired of expensive dining options while on a work trip, I decided to go for a simple pizza and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the pizza was freshly cooked and delicious, and it was all at a reasonable price. The free evening parking across the road was an added bonus. What's not to love?
