The wines are qu... read more The restaurant is well laid out, with a good ambience. The menu is thoughtfully prepared with seasonal selections. It's inventive and creative. The wines are quite extensive, and from all over. I particularly like the Shiraz from South Africa. But equally the Tempranillo from Spain is good, too. Altogether, stylish, English, seasoned and romantic. It's a place to celebrate and take stock, or to think. The menu is a fixed price, fine dining experience, with clever food and a reasonable price.
