Services with family for mid term break at school on our way to Kent and kids loved the fish and chips cooked to order ....friendly service good portion size clean environment,managers on site to help with staff ..overall well worth the stop .look forward...for another stop during summer holidays

Stopped at Cobham Services and my partner fancied fish and chips. Ordered and then told it would be or minutes fair enough. Partner sat down and I stood waiting for minutes as there were only two guys behind the counter/kitchen area....I had ordered a cod wrap firstly it wasn’t a wrap more of a loose parcel, secondly it was meagre and thirdly tasted of stale cooking oil. During my wait there were two managers present who had also ordered food they ended up asking one of the members of staff to bring the picture book of how the food should be presented. They also asked if he had mayonnaise and if so to go and make an ingredient so they could try it clearly not present in their wrap either! Unfortunately they didn’t think it was necessary to correct the problem with our food.

Only went there due to voucher being issued from the hotel for a breakfast not the best unless you pay their full prices ..

We stopped an early evening. the fish and chips were good, with a small part actually very generously dimensioned. the staff was friendly and efficient. it does not manage to overcome the highway service area vibe, but it is what it is.

Started holiday today. on the way to harry’s. a great breakfast. will not be back. what a shame. with a name like harry ramsdon they would expect better.
