The device begins to get a bit tired, chipped lacquering, decent coffee, friendly staff. one of the few places that nowadays serves hot coffee. but what I would... read more The device begins to get a bit tired, chipped lacquering, decent coffee, friendly staff. one of the few places that nowadays serves hot coffee. but what I would give for somewhere that didn't play endless nondescript music, to the loud out of the grinding of coffee and clinginging cups and tellers. a quiet relaxing coffee shop where you can hear yourself thinking. Now there's an idea.

They have a gorgeous... read more If I'm shopping in Walton, then this is my go to coffee shop! The staff are great, the prices are reasonable and the coffee is just superb. They have a gorgeous array of snacks and cakes with new toasties that look delicious I haven't tried...the toasties just yet, however they do great panini's so I hope they're just as good! I recommend this place to all of my friends!

I ordered a frappe with cream and was given a milkshake instead, which was also cheaper. The staff laughed as if they thought I wouldn't notice. I would not recommend this place due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff.

Cardboard straws clearly cheap and incredibly... read more Visited on a warm day, and so can only comment on their cold drinks however there's multiple things wrong here. 1. Cardboard straws clearly cheap and incredibly poor quality coated in a black outer layer which seems to affect the flavour of the drink. 2. Syrup for iced fruit drinks is kept in an open self service fridge which does not keep them adequately refrigerated. This gives the resulting drink an awful dry taste (even without the cardboard straw). Amazing for a drink made from syrup and ice not to taste fresh at all. 3. Ordered an iced black americano, which anywhere else would be served virtually opaque. What I received was watery and pale, looked like dishwater and tasted like it too. Avoid their cold drinks at all costs, is all I can say. Go elsewhere or save your money. Bonus! 4. Staff were poor on all counts in only a short encounter managed to be inattentive, impolite, and just generally seemed both panicked and utterly lost. Poor even by the current standards of the coffee shop industry.
