Ended up here with two mates, after starting off at Platform 3, in Claygate. New manager was very pleasant and friendly; venue was, sadly, empty, but still a nice location. Very good to see that they now do food, daily.
We visited for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and the service was both attentive and friendly.
Nice couple of hours in this establishment, on a Tuesday evening, with a local mate. Staff are very decent, and the pub had a very nice atmosphere, with it being really quite busy.
I had a very enjoyable experience with a friend from Hinchley Wood at this restaurant in Surbiton. The atmosphere inside was pleasant, and we were impressed by the friendly and welcoming service of the new bartender, Jordan, from Northern Ireland.
This is my first time being turned away from a pub because of a quiz. It 's agood job i 'm a white and heterosexual because otherwise if I was a wokey woke in transition, or identifie as one of the other minorities, I would be playing the I 've been discriminated against card ! You would have a massive hullabaloo on your hands. Come on, two middle aged married couples were not served a drink because 'no room at the inn ' is a bit nasty? We ended up laughing about it, but we won 't return. Even if you don 't have a quiz!!
