The Elmauer Alm belongs to the Schlosshotel Elmau and is also operated by this, which is easy to see on the map, happy, with the exception of exceptions, but not at the prices, but at the one or other speciality on which Alm is already offered a luxury backboard with a half bottle of champagne for 50 euros? Apart from these few escapes, the prices are within the scope and you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Terasse in beautiful weather. And there are many Karwendel and Wetterstein impress with their steep rock walls and in almost every direction there is a wonderful distance and a narrow view! At a small window on the side of the Alm ordered and at an early hour (11.30 a.m.) there was not much going on so that we had our order very quickly on the table. Our liver cheese with potato salad was completely good, the liver cheese was well browned and round in taste, even on the potato salad there were no reviews. The audience is mixed with a high proportion of the guests of the two luxury hotels here in the Elmauertal. The mood is relaxed and until children's screams are quieter and more cozy. Finally, you should mention that the Alm can only be reached on foot, either from the Kranzbach or from the Schloss Elmau guide you here in a short 3/4 hour beautiful hiking trails above. Another alternative is the high road from Eckbauer over the ski stadium in Garmisch. A beautiful piece of Bavaria that we will like to visit again!
