Hruska's Store Bakery - Ellinger

Kolaches are way too sweet. I doubt that founders of the Hruska were giving so much of the artificial ingredients to the pastry. Does not taste like European bakery should.

Best freakin double cheese burger around. You can actually taste the meat along with the fresh ingredients. No fries, but who cares. Probably anything you order or buy will be good stuff. Quality place, it is a must stop on the way to and from Austin.

Holy heck. First off, all of the employees were super helpful, polite, and pleasant. Oh my lord that bakery. I've been here twice before and every time I forget just HOW good everything is. Kolaches (sweet Savory) bread we're incredible, sweet fillings were plain natural, the sausage was unique. 100% you have to raid the bakery. Tons of homemade jellies/jams, sauces, local honey. Wallet beware. I'll be trying the restaurant next time!

This eclectic stop is a must! They bake ALL day! The food is amazing. Get gas, get a bag of chips for the road, but DEFINITELY get some kolaches, cookies or klobasniks! The bathrooms are large and always clean.

Love the kolaches! Great place for a lunch stop and restroom break between Houston and Austin. BLT toasted sandwich is delish.
