Visited this place for the first time today. The food was decent, I will say you can tell that the waitresses are use to the regulars. The one walked by our table 3-4 times asking for refills at other tables and asking if they needed anything but never stopped once to see if we needed anything. We're here on our honeymoon from Ocala, Florida, and found out the restaurant was closed. Just when we were feeling disappointed, Sylvia heard our request for some peach cobbler and truly saved our honeymoon. Thank you, Sylvia! You have our heartfelt gratitude. Double L, you both made the beginning of our marriage memorable! The peach cobbler was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. If you're ever in Elijah, be sure to stop by for a great meal. And don’t forget to give Sylvia a generous tip! Thanks again, Double L and Sylvia!

Food was great. Price is reasonable. Cafeteria line was a little long due to time of day but was moving fast.

Really good country cooking. My husband said it reminded him of my late grandmothers cooking. And the staff were all really nice and helpful.
