Emily's Bar Restaurant - Ellijay

I was extremely eager to try this restaurant out. However, I was greatly let down. The prices suggest that you would receive high-quality food and service, but everything was just average. I don't mind paying for excellent food and service, but the filet I ordered was comparable to what you would find at a chain restaurant like Longhorn, but much more expensive. I had hoped for a fine dining experience, but only the prices seemed to reflect that. The menu, service, and atmosphere were all very ordinary.

My experience at the current Butcher and Bottle was disappointing. We ordered the Vindaloo and Short Rib Pappardelle, but both dishes lacked flavor. I hope they improve their menu or they may not survive. Additionally, the bartender misunderstood my request for a very dry martini, adding extra vermouth instead of almost none.

The brunch was fantastic! We will definitely come back if we're in the area again. The chicken and waffles were outstanding, as well as the other dishes that our group ordered.

The steak was fantastic, perfectly cooked. The waiter staff was beyond amazing. It was our first time there and it won't be our last.

Super friendly owners and staff. Coursing was a bit off and rushed. The bar is quite good, but I'd highlight the various sausages/wurst on the menu. Owners are German and do a very good job with the meats and sauerkraut. Definitely worth a visit, but make reservations.
