What Joshua doesn't like about Hitching Post Package Store Delicatessen:
I really wanted to like this place. I love hole-in-the-wall places and this looked promising. People were super friendly, classic Ellijay. However, the pizza was rough. I got The Special and it was a mess. Whole olives piled on with the other toppings under a blanket of cheese on a thin crust. I 'm convinced the wings were store bought frozen. Maybe their subs are better? View all feedback.
Nice little place with Big Flavor! The owners and staff are friendly and they have some of the best pizza I've had in awhile. Had the cheese and the meat, the meat was loaded with toppings. Flavor of the wings were great, could have been crisper, but we also had a 20 minute drive back to the house. Can pick up beer and local wine here too, we'll definitely be back.
They are generous with the toppings. The pizza is amazing, and the price is just right for the quality they offer. This will definitely be my go-to pizza spot!
We had the best Reuben sandwich ever, and the service was incredibly friendly. A must-visit!
This is the best spot for food, beer, and wine! They offer the best pizza in town! The drive-thru is super convenient, and I really appreciate that feature. Al's pizza is outstanding, and their chef salads make a perfect side to go with the pizza and subs.
I had a pizza from there last night, and it was quite enjoyable! However, I do prefer a thicker crust, as this one was quite thin, almost like a cracker.
