Zen Garden - Ellicott City

All the staff were incredibly friendly—every single one of them! We didn’t encounter any issues; they were all accommodating and pleasant. The food was good overall. The orange chicken wasn’t the best I've ever had, and I’d probably seek out a different place for that standout dish. However, the Hunan Lo Mein was delicious, and the fried rice was also quite tasty. The drinks were enjoyable, though I have to say they didn’t taste authentic; they felt more like soda and juice you’d find at a gas station. While it may not be my top choice for Chinese cuisine, it was still a pleasant experience. I would recommend it if you’re in or near the city.

I gave this restaurant a 4-star rating primarily due to the long wait time for the food to be served. I visited with my colleagues to celebrate a dear coworker, and by the time everyone received their meals, some had already finished eating. The staff was friendly, and the food was quite decent overall.

Since the new management took over, I've visited a few times, but it seems either they are trying too hard or there's a lack of clarity in their service. The menu offers a great variety of food options, but the quality and taste are just average. The sushi, in particular, is quite basic and lacks creativity. On a positive note, the seating area is beautiful and inviting.

Another amazing meal with incredible portions! great service and it is amazing how these dishes are prepared. we have always eaten enough to take home for at least two more meals.

Overpriced, flavorless and one of the worst Chinese in the area. Order was screwed up, one additional meal added and one sauce left off. Had to call back after getting home to ask for a refund only to be offered a free dish next time! There won't be a next time and had to insist on the refund. Avoid this place at all costs. A frozen dinner from the grocery store would be 20x better and 70x less expensive.
