The service here is bet... read more Fredricks has several branches in Toronto and I heaved already gone to two of them. The latest one I visited was the one at Scarborough. The service here is better than the one at Markham and the food is equally good. Loved to speak with the ex Indian Chinese server who was fully of laughs and conversation. Freedricks is fast becoming my favourite Hakka Chinese restaurant. Love their Cantonese Chow mein. Their dragon chicken was yummy and was the fried rice. The chicken corn soup was sumptuous . Wonderful place to eat and not hard on the wallet. Please mix their daily lunch menu with orders form their ala carte menu to get a good deal. Oh yes. I am allergic to MSM so they are careful to give me food without it. Which makes a lot of difference.

The vegetable tofu was bland and watery as well. The paneer was soft, old and stale. This is the worst Hakka experience I've had in Scarborough. It used to be so good here. Avoid this place at all costs.

I was quite surprised as I have eate... read more Last Friday for dinner celebrating a friend's birthday. We ordered the spicy combo for 4 people. Food was not spicy at all. I was quite surprised as I have eaten there before. Combo included dessert, we did not get the dessert but instead got the bill. Different waitress and had to wait for a while to get the dessert after we told her. Did not clean up the dinner plates. Service was bad, the original waitress was sitting at a table going through her phone. Will not be coming back to this location. Waste of money and time.

This time I ordered the chili chicken and it was tasty at first until I bite into a piece of glass; could have broken my teeth or swallowed it. The glass resembles a piece that might have come from a broken beer bottle. They offered me a replacement but I was scared to try anything from them so they refunded my money back but no compensation for my time or anything else. Will never eat here again!!
