Family friendly restaurant -... read more I've been here a few times now, and every time it's been absolutely consistent- wonderful staff, great food and really well priced. Family friendly restaurant - not the place for a romantic first date as it can be busy and noisy but if you're after a good night out with family and friends with delicious food and generous portions you can't go past this place. So glad it's local to me!! (Pictured is apple pie we got for dessert)

My brother inlaw had L... read more My Sister & hubby came to Ellenbrook to meet with my hubby & I, to celebrate her Birthday. My hubby had Steak plus ribs which were great. My brother inlaw had Linguini, which could have been hotter. I had Chicken schnitzel with garlic sauce. My sister ordered a Chicken Caesar salad. Hubby & brother inlaw received their meals first. Then my schnitzel was served. Then we all waited for the Birthday girls food. She stood up and was going to go and enquire, when she was told it was coming. Eventually, when it was delivered, we were told there was a problem with the eggs, that they had to reboil some more. Might not have been as embarassing if our server had told us about the problem when he was serving my meal. We didn't tell staff that we were celebrating a Birthday, but I would have thought that my sister would have been offered a complimentary drink or coffee or something. While it felt rude to eat before everyone was served, we also didn't want cold food.

The lady that showed us to our table is usual... read more We have visited this restaurant a few times with friends. Last night we visited and I must say I was disappointed. The lady that showed us to our table is usually over the top bubbly, however last night she was trying a bit too hard and was boarding on irritating. We placed our order my friends ordered the porterhouse with chips and salad and ordered a calamari salad (my litmus test of a restaurant). My friends meals came out and the portions looked lovely and generous, a tasty steak atop chips and a side salad. Then my salad came out......... the salad was the same size as the side salad on my friends plate. It consisted of a handful of green leaves, four slices of cucumber and two chunks of tomatoe (plus a slither of capsicum and about three slithers of onion). WTH. I ordered a salad, not a side salad. If it wasn't for the fact that I was with company I would have sent back. Now I must say there was a generous serve of calamari, but it looked like I had an entree for my mains. The worse thing was my friends paid $25 for their porterhouse and I paid $24 for my salad. I left feeling disappointed and ripped off. This is a shame as this restaurant is good, but the disappointing salad and the over the top lady have done me in. I'm sorry to say I won't go back again.

Went out on a whim, monday night, so glad we did, it was jazz and shiraz night, free glass of shiraz wirh your main and nice tunes playind, ee shared a bruchett... read more Went out on a whim, monday night, so glad we did, it was jazz and shiraz night, free glass of shiraz wirh your main and nice tunes playind, ee shared a bruchetta for entree and then i had prawn and blue swimmer ceab linguini and my wife had chicken kiev, stunningly good and we are a bit fussy, desert was affogato for me and a liquer sundae , we rolled out so satisfied and cant wait to return, thank you so much amarettos, you have restored my faith in eating out!!

Salad had just the right amount of heat without overpowering and beef was tender and plentiful.Staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Went with a girlfriend who lives in the area and she had the ribs which fell off the bone and were not swamped with sauce. It came with an actual salad and chips not just a side garnish. She was very happy :) Icing on the cake was my cappuccino which was scalding hot without even having to ask for it extra hot. If I lived in the area, I would eat there every night! Will just have to use the excuse to catch up with my girlfriend more regularly!

Food selection was amazing with fantastic specials on offer. Can not recommend this place highly enough.
