But here too, at around 7 p.m., 3/4 of the tables were already reserved or were no longer available. Of course everyone has a direct view of the water. By the way, the view here is really beautiful! The food wasn't bad, but I still felt it lacked a kick, that certain something extra. I also didn't get the typical tavern feeling, but rather felt like I was in a trendy beach restaurant. I've been to a few taverns in my life and appreciate the hospitality and authentic food, which I also missed here. Again, the food wasn't bad per se it was tasty but it wasn't enough for 4 or 5 stars. As an example: The children's meal (meatballs with fries) came dry, which means without any sauce. Neither the meat nor the fries (which are no different in GR). But where can you get Keftedes “fart dry”? There was no water on the house as we know it, no bread on the table (which of course is paid for in the end). For the Tzatziki nothing. The salad (Corfu salad) is advertised as having apples and a great dressing. The apples were simply cut into large pieces and placed on the edge, and the dressing was added drop by drop on top of the green salad. The Stifado, which was very tasty, only consisted of two pieces of meat and around 8 onions. That just doesn't fit. For one of my most expensive meals in Corfu, it was unfortunately also the “worst” for me and us, or let’s say with the most inconsistent price/performance ratio. So if you're looking for a quaint, authentic taverna, this isn't the right place for you. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
