I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. A nice young lady took my order, but there was a mix-up. My frustration lies not with her, but with the cook who argued with her when she pointed out the mistake. I don't care who was at fault; I spent about 25 minutes of my lunch break trying to resolve the issue, watching them reopen my food multiple times. In the end, I left empty-handed, and they told me I would see a $9.00 refund on my card in 3-5 days. Thanks for nothing.
I just had the worst chicken sandwich I've ever encountered. In fact, I couldn't even eat it because it was as hard as a rock. I had initially hesitated to go out since I was feeling under the weather, and I didn't have the energy to cook. But I decided to grab a quick meal, only to be greeted by this disgrace of a sandwich. Honestly, I’d call it a rock on a bun. I think I might have cracked a tooth trying to bite into it. If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would. It’s no surprise the food came out so quickly; it must have been sitting around for ages, just drying out more and more. The staff clearly didn’t care enough to make me a fresh chicken sandwich.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today while returning home from the car dealer, and I was very disappointed. The chicken sandwich was the worst I've ever had—dry and tough, making it hard to chew. The original recipe chicken was also dry, as if it was old. Overall, it was a terrible experience.
The men's bathroom was terrible—I'd recommend using a gas station restroom instead. The windows and doors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. I visited around 11:10 am. While I understand the staff are likely underpaid, I’ll give them some leeway on customer service. The food was as expected, which is why I’m rating it two stars instead of one. I called KFC customer service to report my experience and was put on hold for 10 minutes before I gave up. As a contractor who eats fast food daily, I rarely leave reviews. Overall, it seems there are systemic issues beyond just the Elkton location. It’s surprising how they compete with other chicken chains.
I visited KFC on a Monday evening and noticed they seemed short staffed, which caused a delay in food preparation. They did mix up my order, but the staff apologized sincerely and quickly corrected it. Everyone was busy working hard, including some who looked quite young. While it wasn't perfect, I was impressed by their effort and patience, especially dealing with difficult customers. I hope more people recognize and appreciate the great job they’re doing, as customer service is definitely not easy.
