some milkshakes can be made vegan on request! I enjoyed the diner more back than I was vegetarian because there were much more options for me. eating is great, but I will not complain too much about the limited selection. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Silver Diner:
I was so excited to find a diner with vegan options, but I had the just egg benedict and they were terrible. the eggs were cooked too long. the sauce was a strange taste. but the flower bag with humus was good. several vegan options that people mentioned in other reviews have not been available. I have long and hard been looking for a place like Mel's from California and this place has a similar feeling! I ordered her Bay Benedict and my fiancée got a BYOB (build your own burger) with sweet potato friars. Food came out quite quickly and was delicious! We finished our records. The only problem was that our milkshake came out only after my fiancée had finished his meal. It turned out that no one made the milkshakes, so our waiter had to do it quickly. Overall, we would definitely be back to try other elements on their expansive menu.
Silver Diner was absolutely amazing! If you need a solid breakfast or even dinner, you need to come. Service was great and food came hot not too long after our order. Price was above average for breakfast, but you will not be upset. I highly recommend that we come back in the future. Thank you.
On my way home from New Jersey, I looked for a place to eat in Maryland (we stopped here overnight). I’m glad that I found Silver Diner especially because they have a really good vegan menu! The service, particularly Jason, was fabulous. He was attentive, funny and friendly. I had the meatless tacos which were outstanding! I also had THAI CAULIFLOWER QUINOA PASTA which was good as well! An authentically wonderful experience. Thank you’all!
This location (I believe all now) serve beyond meat entrees. They are delicious! I tried the tofu skewers and the beyond meat meatball entree. I recommend both.
I have tried the minty Grashopper and the mocha cold brew plant based Shakes and they are both wonderful, certainly the best vegan shake that I have tried in a restaurant and are definitely worth a try, they do not have this artificial or overly sweet taste like other places that I have tried to make their Hibiscus Mango also sounds great. I recommend the lemon chickpea hummus and flower pita, it has a beautiful taste and the dried apricots are a satisfying note. The meatless taco bowl with the quinoa salad is super hearty and tastes amazing. The Thai Quinoa Cauliflower Pasta is also good. Make sure you stay here!
