I found the Indian food to be excellent, with large portion sizes. The menu offered a wide variety, allowing everyone in our group to find something they liked. We ordered through Grub Nabe, and the delivery was quick, with the food arriving piping hot! View all feedback.

The second problem was that the biryani was heavily overspiced. I had requested a medium spice level, and I typically have a high tolerance for spice, having eaten Indian food throughout the region. However, this biryani leaned towards the spicy side, with dark grains of chili clearly visible throughout. I managed to eat it, though it was a bit uncomfortable, but most people who ordered medium would likely struggle and find it difficult to finish. On the positive side, the biryani was generous with chicken; many places provide very little meat, so that was appreciated. However, those not accustomed to spiciness would certainly find the heat challenging. The main reason I chose Gateway was for their relatively rare mo mo (Nepalese or Tibetan-style steamed dumplings). The mo mo was decent.
The vegetarian Indian food here is outstanding. There are plenty of options around, but this place is my favorite! The veggie samosas are incredible! I always order extra garlic naan—it’s something you definitely won't regret.
I placed my order directly through their website for pickup. When I arrived only five minutes past the time indicated in their email, they seemed unaware of my order until I asked about it. I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for my food, and there were no apologies offered for the delay. I can only imagine how problematic delivery would be. As for the pizzas, the paneer pizza was bland and not worth the extra cost compared to their regular cheese pizza. The butter chicken pizza had a bit more flavor, but it still didn't justify the price. You'd be better off spending $14 on a flavorful Indian entrée at Royal Taj or any other local Indian restaurant. If you're okay with mediocre pizza and don’t mind wasting time, this might be worth a try. However, there are plenty of better Indian and pizza options in the area, so I won’t be returning.
