My esposo is from Rio Bravo, Coachuila, MX. We live in Chicago travel to Arkansas every year. We drove the extra 2 hours to Talaquah OK to this restaurant every time. What Shannon Avery doesn't like about Rio Grande Mexican:
Never had a chili relleno with no batter, just pepper with cheese in it. The cheese inside was so hard i couldn't eat it. Taco seasoning was different. The ladies running around couldn't take your order or check you out, 1 guy ran around and did that. Everyone was polite, but I wouldn't go back. Always try to eat local when out of town, but this one was a bust.If you go, the tamales were really good. View all feedback.
The owner is a very sweet man. It was a nice experience.
