A bartender took our drink order (and got it wron... read more My husband and I stopped here for dinner (at 4:30) and a couple of drinks. We were told it was .50 wing night. A bartender took our drink order (and got it wrong) then the manager, a VERY uppity and condescending blonde woman took our food order. Weordered wings, well done, hot Buffalo and extra hot Buffalo, and were THEN told that the specials didn 't start until 5:00 sowe 'd have to pay full price. No problem. Our food came out eight soggy, rubbery wing dings in some sort of slimy barbequesauce. They had the taste and consistency of microwaved gas station wings. They were so bad we couldn 't even finish them (and wewere extremely hungry, having driven all day without stopping to eat). For two orders of the worst wings we 'd ever had, twococktails and a beer, our bill was over 40. Between the attitude and ambiance , the unrealistically high prices andunbelievably bad food, I 'd recommend stopping to scrape up roadkill for dinner before I 'd recommend Beander 's. Truly, trulyawful on every level.

The wings are some sort of barbecue and taste microwaved. The lady waiting on us treated us like trash and believe it or not had herown picture above the men's urinal. We aren't trash urinal lady and those aren't Buffalo wings. Travelers beware. Maybe it'sjust for locals.

The wait staff is attentive and very pleasant, but the meals justaren't much tonwrite home about. The most recent being the Texas Burger that resembled a hocky puck in taste and appearance. Iknow I should have returned it, but sending out food that looks like that shouldn't happen in the first place. Don't get mewrong, it's a good place to grab a cold beverage talk to friends, but I would not go just for the food. Would love tonsee arefreshing of the menu.

My husband asked what the special was our waitress told us the special was any burger for $6.99 this was incorrect info she provided us, burger special is $7.99) . So we ordered burgers. Well I told her provolone cheese, I had to tell her twice. I had no cheese on my burger. Then when we got our bill our burgers were full price $12.50 for 1 and $13.75 for the other. So I asked about it, she walked over to the bar spoke with whom I believe to be the owner/manager because she was switching out the till or counting the till I 'm not sure which. Our waitress came back over and said oh sorry the special doesn 't start until 5 it was 4:30btw) ok.... well that would have been handy info when we asked about the special. The price was not adjusted, So I paid for an overpriced burger that I didn 't get what I ordered on it. Wings were terrible. Gino 's has better. I had heard good things about this place. Unfortunately it didn 't live up to the hype. I wish I could leave no stars.

The bread was correct the meat was perfect the toasting was just right. If I was local I would eat there for lunch every day. Do not miss the r... read more I went to Beanders during the Ramp and Rails festival. This so the best time to go in my opinion because they have specials filled with ramps. Do not miss the ramp dip. I could eat it everyday of my life. There is a reason it is award winning. I have never had anything like it. I also had a chicken sandwich with ramps and it was so good. I couldn’t even finish it all and had it the next day and it was just as good. The inside is nice and spacious. I like the decor. Truly a staple for dining in Elkins. The staff was friendly and took the time to take care of our needs even though they were crazy busy during the festival. A highly recommended stop.
