I didn’t feel safe in the store. My husband and I were in line picking out our ice cream (I’m also pregnant). This woman almost bumped into me and continued to invade our space/would not wait her turn, management said nothing. For safety purposes, my husband and I just had to move to the register. Excellent selection of ice cream flavors. Great sundays too. Loads of interesting antique product signs on display. Staff was friendly and provided great service. Best place in Elkhart Lake to get ice cream.
Ok, ice cream cone until I had to pull a 8 inch long hair out of mine! I was done.
This place is such a time capsule that you wouldn’t be surprised to hear F.D.R. giving a fireside chat over the radio. We walked in, and immediately heard the swooning crooning of Artie Shaw and his band playing Begin the Beguine. Oh, how the clarinet makes me crave some delicious Wisconsin dairy! You’d think they had a cow out back, the ice cream is so fresh. We came in with a large group, and were impressed by how swiftly we were served. All members of our party enjoyed their frozen delicacies. The butter pecan blue moon was of special note. Thank you for preserving Wisconsin’s dairy heritage and showing the next generation what the soda fountain age was all about.
24 flavors and lots of toppings and cones. Fun atmosphere!
