I have 2 locations that I patronize. I have food allergies so I order the custom crust and use the ingredients that I can use. At both locations the crust are always well done to burnt and the staff say it’s because it’s a special crust it cooks faster but if they don’t leave in oven the pizza won’t be done or center gooey? I love pizza. I have it at least once a week. This was my first experience with Pieology and I will probably come back a few times. The employee who helped me was friendly enough, but seemed bored. He sold me on getting the rising crust dough. The rising crust was just ok. I would not get it again. The sauce and toppings were very good. Additionally, I’ve noticed a change in the tomato sauce. It seems to be lacking flavor compared to what it used to be. I’ve continued to come back because there aren't many pizza places that offer the custom crust option or dairy-free cheese. However, if the quality of the food doesn’t improve, I might have to consider driving to another location to satisfy my pizza cravings.
I’m a big fan of pizza and usually have it at least once a week. This was my first visit to Pieology, and I think I'll return a few more times. The employee who assisted me was friendly, though he seemed a bit uninterested. He convinced me to try the rising crust dough, but honestly, it was just mediocre—I wouldn't choose it again. On the bright side, the sauce and toppings were excellent. The vegetables tasted fresh, and the meat exceeded my expectations. They had the perfect amount of cheese, and my pizza arrived piping hot. Next time, I plan to try their regular dough to see how it compares.
