This place is unbelievable! I ended up here by chance on a road trip and was blown away. I had the best General Tso's I've ever eaten. Every bite was crispy, not soggy like you find at a lot of smaller restaurants. The sauce was perfectly spiced and even had whole dried peppers in it. What Helen Ekweonu dislikes about Hokkaido Sushi:
Miso soup was store bought, needed a little more of the seasoning packet in the hot water. The overpriced chicken teriyaki was a huge miss. Chicken breast with not great teriyaki sauce drizzled over it. Also had no dumplings but they were advertised. Tempura in the spicy tuna roll when it was advertised differently. Great food! If we come back we'd definitely eat here again. Maybe get the lady out front some help.
Met friends here for lunch, I am not a Sushi expert but all of us were pleased with our dishes. It was extremely busy as we hit the Sunday afternoon rush and I only saw 3 people working. I would say for the volume of customers and take out they did very well. Portions were generous and prices resonable.
Can't get enough of this place, and their sushi is phenomenal! Ginger dressing on the salad hits the spot Everytime. The hubs loves the Lo mein, General Taos and Orange Chicken. Incredible Roll, Volcano Roll, Cherry Blossom and the Sweetheart Roll are my favorites. Wasabi is zippy but so addicting!
I am surprised how good this restaurant is. I just wanted to escape a pushy salesman decompress. The wait staff/cashier/bus person was incredibly kind hard working. She promptly brought our food to us. The food was tasty. Well worth the visit
