Taqueria Los Güeros - Elizabeth

I hired this team to cater an important event at my company in November 2021. Kevin, who handled the catering, was very professional and tackled any challenges with enthusiasm. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. After that experience, I decided to visit their Elizabeth location to see how it was. Unfortunately, the staff was not as friendly or engaged, although the food remained good. I really enjoy their dishes, but they need to work on their customer service smiles! Good service is crucial for survival, especially during this pandemic when so many restaurants are struggling. Don't let your attitude drive customers away!

I ordered the spicy cheese sauce with chips, and it definitely lived up to its name—it was delicious! I also had a burrito filled with beans, rice, and chicken. It was quite large, very satisfying, and flavorful.

I absolutely loved it! I stopped in for lunch, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, and the horchata was incredible. This will definitely be my go-to place whenever I'm in Newark!

Fresh food and juices. I had 2 chicken 2 beef tacos. It was delicious with the two sauces. Ted is hot. Green was mild.

I ordered online and accidentally went to the wrong location. Fortunately, they were kind enough to prepare my chicken order for me. I have to give the service a 5/5. However, the meat in the chicken tacos was bland and unseasoned. I was really disappointed. The salsa verde added a bit of flavor, but honestly, once I saw the tacos, I could tell they weren't worth it. Maybe the carnitas or al pastor are better, but I would recommend skipping the chicken tacos altogether. They’re definitely not worth the $5.99 on Taco Tuesday.
