This restaurant offers flavorful pupusas and lively music but suffers from significant service issues and inconsistency. Patrons often endure long wait times for drinks and food, with complaints about incorrect orders and inattentive staff. While some appreciate the food quality during less busy times, others criticize its authenticity. Valet parking on weekends and charges for takeout bags may inconvenience guests, detracting from the overall experience. Overall, this venue may not meet expectations, especially during peak times.

Was Cristy C at El Salvadoreño a mag?
The food was good. Live music is great. The only downside is there's valet parking on weekends which I didn't find was needed at all. Also, if you take leftovers home, they charge you for the bag to put your container in. This was not mentioned until I saw it on the bill later. View all feedback.
What Anna Dosch dislikes about El Salvadoreño:
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waited an hour JUST to get drinks then waited over another HOUR for food. And the food that came out wasn’t even right!! Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Also no toilet paper in the bathroom View all feedback.
As a Salvadoran, I can say that the first time I visited, the food and service were excellent. However, yesterday's experience was disappointing. The food was poor, the drinks were not good, and the bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired. Additionally, they included a tip on the bill without my consent, which I find unacceptable. Overall, it was a terrible experience.
My girlfriend took me here to experience Salvadoran cuisine. They offer a wide variety of options, and I absolutely love their pupusas!
I used to enjoy dining at this restaurant because the food was delicious. However, with all due respect, the quality has declined dramatically. No matter what you order, it just doesn’t taste the same. The horchata was the worst I’ve ever had. The only thing that’s still decent are the pupusas.
I do not recommend it, the meat I ordered was fried with a large amount of oil, the potatoes were stiff, the rice looked like a masoso puree, the seafood soup was a seafood cream made with packets that they sell, it said it had lobster, we never imagined what a piece it was. of lobster the meat without a pinch of salt without flavor we traveled almost 140 miles my friends mentioned it a lot but it was a disappointment the prices were a little high but for what they gave us I think they are very high I do not recommend it
