Be careful when dining at this restaurant, as they automatically add a tip to your bill. They include a line for an additional tip on the receipt, which can be misleading if you don't check closely. I noticed this after feeling rushed by the waiter to pay, and quickly corrected the error. The waiter tried to deceive me into giving an extra $20 tip, but when I called him out on it, he admitted that they often trick customers in this way.

Don Alex used to serve delicious chicken, but unfortunately, the quality has decreased. The chicken was dry, greasy, and tasted poorly, and even the plantains were dry. I do not recommend this place at all.

The food at this restaurant is quite delicious, but the prices are a bit too high given the quality. I have visited other similar establishments where the food is not as pricey. I only choose to go to this restaurant as a last resort because of the high prices. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 15 years now. Keep in mind I live 40min away. You can't get food like this with the environment anywhere else. Great family restaurant with a friendly staff. Love the accepting environment. Amazing chicken, salad, and fries combo. Whether you're taking a girl for a date, hanging out with friends, or out with the family, its a perfect place to go.

Don’t come here! Save your money. Or go to a different location. The staff here is very rude and unprofessional. The chicken is extremely dry. Overall it’s a horrible experience.The waitresses from today were awful. They had their family/friend come in and the two little kids were running around crazy. They came right up to our table and the little boy was about to take something off my husbands plate and he had to say something. I recommend the management replaces the waitresses because they leave a horrible impression. The food is low quality as well so there’s nothing good about this place.
