Happy Daz - Elida
Happy Daz
Description
At this charming throwback restaurant, patrons experience a delightful ambiance filled with vintage décor, and while many rave about the superb food—like the tenderloins and onion rings—recent visits have revealed inconsistencies. Some diners reported long wait times and subpar meals, with cold items or overcooked dishes detracting from the overall enjoyment. Service can vary, with some staff appearing overwhelmed, yet a friendly employee often comes to the rescue. Despite these drawbacks, the standout flavors, including beloved chicken tenders and shakes, keep customers returning, hoping for another taste of the exceptional dishes amidst occasional service hiccups.

Recently moved to the area and was anxious to try the place out. We were looking forward to dining in but the dining area was closed that day. Next best option was drive thru. They were friendly, quick and well priced. We got home and devoured our food. It was exactly what we were hoping it would be. Everything was great and we look forward to coming back, and hopefully getting to eat inside. Would definitely recommend.
The ambiance is wonderful, featuring a delightful array of vintage Coke, Pepsi, and various other signs to enjoy. The food is superb; we sampled the tenderloins, onion rings, and jalapeño poppers, and each dish was delicious.
Cable Road Happy Daz is our favorite place! The staff is always friendly, and the food never disappoints. It’s definitely worth the drive for us.
Ordered chicken stripes and they were so bad we couldn't eat them. Normally the food is good but not today! I was first in line , only I car in the parking lot and had to wait 25 minutes to get 3 rotten chicken strips..waste of my time and !
