Pizza Hut - Elgin

Usually, this restaurant is fantastic, but my last two orders were very disappointing. Just look at the pictures and see for yourself! I ordered extra sauce and double cheese, but I got no sauce and only a regular amount of cheese, and it's all concentrated in the middle! An employee even commented on my complaints while I was in the store, saying that I'm "the guy who always complains." That was rude and unprofessional, especially for a $20 pizza that looks like this! I'll give it another chance, but if I have one more bad experience, I'm done with Pizza Hut!

I'm giving this restaurant four stars. My first delivery right after they opened was a disaster, but my last three experiences—a carryout and two deliveries—have been fantastic. The food has been hot, well-prepared, and delivered on time. I'm pleased to see they’ve overcome their initial issues. The $10 Tastemaker Large 3-topping pizza offers great value compared to the DNOS medium 2-topping pies. Keep up the great work, and I'll definitely keep coming back!

We ordered pizza on our way home this evening, and when I arrived, the status screen indicated that my order was ready. However, when I went to pick it up, they couldn’t find my pizza anywhere. I suspect another customer took it by mistake, so I had to wait for a new one to be made. Despite the inconvenience, I’m giving them 5 stars because I have never encountered such a kind and apologetic response from a restaurant. Multiple staff members expressed their apologies, and they generously offered us free cheesy bread and a 2-liter soda. They handled the situation exceptionally well; it was simply a mix-up. This is truly what customer service should be all about!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My pizza arrived cold, and they made a mistake with my order. I'm usually pretty patient, but when I spoke to the manager, she had an awful attitude. To make things worse, my daughter came home and told me she heard the manager refer to a staff member in a derogatory way. I will never return to this restaurant.
