Mcalister's Deli - Elgin

Delicious food and clean restaurant with large staff. We had the reuben sandwich, Caesar Wrap, Broccoli cheese bread bowl and chef salad. The bread bowl was under $7 and massive. The salad is too big.

I'm passing this place regularly, so I finally stopped. Sandwich is good. Page options great. Clean. Very clean. The staff is out of the way to ensure that you are satisfied, which is unusual for a fast food place. I will return.

So delicious and so fill out! We order online, then easily from the drive-thru. For two of us we order a salad and a huge spit, then we both share. Portions are generous! We miss the Spud Ole, which was the previous menu standard. But we can simply order all these same toppings for a custom Justaspud.

My wife had the grilled chicken salad and had to take almost half of it home because it was so big. I had the rubies with a cup of chili. The chili might not be the best I ever had, but it was in the top 10. Ruben was fleshy and very tasty. Maybe it would have spent a minute or two on the grill to play more, but otherwise it was great. Service was very good, maybe a little slow, but like most places they looked a little shorthanded, so it is in vain.

I was really pleasantly suprised with how good the food was here. I haven't ever tried it before and had a club sandwhich.
