I stopped by to place a take out order. Took my order quickly and my food came out fast as well. And very tasty. I enjoy eating in as well. Nice decor and friendly staff! View all feedback.
What Zach Dawson doesn't like about Katana Sushi Ramen Noodles:
Sashimi was a miss for me. Wasn't great, but there's not much good sashimi in the area, so it was better than other stuff nearby. Got some free fried Oreos at the end, kind of a first for me at a Japanese restaurant but tasted View all feedback.
I had an amazing meal and experience here!I started my order by asking if the ramen noodles were flour based or rice...the server went to find out and immediately all staff were engaged in finding gluten free alternatives. I am gluten and dairy free and had not shared that yet as we all knowhow uncomfortable it gets asking for substitutes. The manager/owner (unsure) came table side to offer an alternative to each ingredient that needed to be replaced. I had amazing ramen and sushi gluten free with fantastic service!! Thank you Katana!

Service: great, attentive, considerate. Atmosphere: clean, quiet, relatively relaxing.Foods: overall was ok (this time), hamachi kama a bit under cooked, free appetizer too much sauce, screaming salmon needs to go light on Sriracha. Despite the improvements needed on some of the dishes, this place is still one of our favorite in this area.
I'm being generous in giving 4 stars, it's more like 3.5 stars. Went for dinner on a Saturday evening and sat in the back near the curtained booths. The curtains on those booths are pretty and decorated with common Japanese symbols. The service we received was fine. I tried the tuna lovers roll and the tuna was decent quality. For non-sushi eaters there's hibachi entrees and fried rice. There's a decent selection of cocktails and sake, but I didn't indulge. I imagine for this area this is probably the best sushi restaurant.
I ordered vegetable fried rice and forgot to mention it had to be gluten free. I was fully prepared to pay for my mistake but they suggested I just exchange my miss-order for a fresh gluten free fried rice free of charge. My wife and I have been going here since they've been open. Food is great, we only go here for sushi in the area and this previous experience got me to write a review which I hardly do. Thanks Katana!
