The food was amazing!!! The quality of the fish was top notch. The service was fabulous with recommendations that were spot on to our liking!!! We will definitely be returning!!!Parking: It's a tight squeeze but well worth it!
One of my most favorite sushi restaurants in the area. The fish is fresh, the sushi is made with care. The rice is perfect.
A local favorite in the south bay and el segundo, saloon osaka is a great japanese sushi/izakaya spot thats serves great quality ingredients as well as wonderful portions for the price!came on a quiet weekday night and they only have a few patrons and couple of regulars. it felt homey and casual with good vibes. my go to is always a chirashi bowl because i like variety without having to make decisions and was pleasantly surprised!chirashi bowl 36.5) 4.2/5the bowl came with four types of sashimi, ikura, tamago and scallop. all the sashimi were thickly cut and they definitely dont skimp on the portion sizes. love this for the freshness and value, especially at a dinner price. 3 sakana roll 31.95) 4.2/5they have different hand roll combos that allow you to pick from premium or regular rolls. we picked the toro, salmon, and yellow tail rolls. great fish to rice ratio with crispy nori and avocado to top it off. they were deceptively filling as well! chicken karage 13.7) 3.9/5crispy karage with a slightly less potato starchy batter. not my prefered coating batter but juicy nonetheless. it came with a tasty tangy aioli which i liked alot. overall a great solid value sushi pick! they serve great staples and i love the cozy yet lively vibes the restaurant offers. complimentary miso soup and good service as well!saloon osaka el segundo, ca 4.1/5small free shared parking lot100 W Imperial Ave, El Segundo, CA 90245
Stumbled upon this gem because my friend took me there. The second you walk in you are greeted by the sushi chef behind a gorgeous sushi counter. The leather bound menus are a delight to flip through and you'll certainly find something for everyone whether they enjoy sashimi or some cooked items. There are some big tables if you have a bigger party, but I would definitely call or book on their website in advance for a reservation!The quality of the fresh fish is supreme that just dances and sings to you with every bite.We ordered 4 items off the menu: Marco Polo Osaka Sashimi platter Uni handrolls Scallop Sushi and Salmon SushiBoth the service and food were immaculate. Would definitely be back!
Everything was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the waiter was very attentive. I would highly recommend this place—175 out of 10!
