Delicious tortas! I also recommend the pan de elote and quesadilla salvadoreña. Love eating out in their garden area-it’s one of the most beautiful hidden gems in Oxnard! View all feedback.
What Ximena doesn't like about La Gloria:
To clear up my past review (in case it was confusing to understand and just to add more detail). I was at the restaurant waiting for my family to finish ordering their food when I saw the cockroach crawling down the wall right next to where we were ordering our food (which is also close to the kitchen), And we were disgusted. Especially since we had been going there for many years and we never had a bad experience. A... View all feedback.
Absolutely delicious food. Huevos rancheros was made with a bright and fresh sauce, the tortillas were fried to literal perfection and stayed crispy. Chile Relleno burrito was hailed as the best ever. The chips were so good and the tortillas are made in house. Highly recommended! They are possibly Spanish-speaking only, so please be aware of this when ordering.
Delicious food, natural juices, not to mention, and freshly made bread. There I found the fair bread that I hadn't eaten in years. Fascinated with home atmosphere with a little piece of Mexico
Tamales are okay when they have them, which is not always. That's okay.though, I get that. But service can be really slow. Today it took them 15 minutes to put 4 tamales in a container. They seemed to be working hard, although it wasn't that crowded. But they were filling other orders. They didnt do mine (literally took 15 seconds) until I asked. Maybe it was personal for some reason. In any case I'll be going elsewhere
Variety of food, very good roast chicken. Good seasoning.
I love it because it is a Mexican store, there is bread, food and drinks.
