Great American Steakhouse Airway

I was here three times in the last 4-5 months. Food is great (always have the fillet mignon), the decor is very nice. The bad thing: every time the service was slow, it took forever that a server came to our table after we sat, for ever took the drinks to our table. Apart from these little details, yes I will come back, I hope I have more luck with the service.

Great American Steakhouse does not work with OpenTable. Open table says you have a confirmed reservation, when you get there the restaurant doesn't know about it. The restaurant said this has been an ongoing problem.

The steak my customer ordered medium was overcooked and my half rack of ribs were lukewarm and dry. The BBQ sauce didn't improve the situation at all.

This is the second time we go to Great America, food was delicious, the waitress was very helpful and friendly.

I had made reservations for an anniversary dinner for my wife and I. When we arrived, the hostess said she couldn’t find the reservation but said she could still find a table for us. We were seated pretty quickly, although it was not an intimate or quieter area. I then checked my phone to ensure I had the correct time and date for my anniversary reservation. I found it and showed the hostess who then found it on the computer. The waitress served us water and took our drink order. Apparently all of their fountain beverages were coming out flat that evening so we settled for tea and lemonade. We noticed after having drank some of the water served to us that the glass pitcher was dirty at the spout with some stuck on food. Not a major issue but still questionable. The wait for our food did not take long and the food was decent. Nothing to write home about but still not bad for the price. Our waitress was very nice but seemed distracted after taking our food order. We only saw her a couple times after that. The manager (at least that’s who he seemed like) seemed very attentive and was also very nice. The music was a bit too loud for a dinner type environment. Wasn’t a bad experience with all things considered but seems to be more of a social gathering environment than date environment.
