We heard this place was quite the attraction in El Paso, and I can see why! The food was really good, the portions are BIG and they come with plenty of sides. We had Sausage as an appetizer, Rib Eye with veggies and fries, and Pecan Pie with ice cream fordessert, all of them really good! It's a bit far away from the city, but nothing impossible. What Tiktiktok G doesn't like about Cattleman's Steakhouse At Indian Cliffs Ranch:
I?ve heard of this restaurant for a long time and we drove about 2 hours to get here. Their steaks are great, but the sides are just okay. The service is good, too. Overall, it?s a good experience to dine in here, prices are reasonable andaffordable. Suggest to come here earlier because it takes about 1-1.5 hours to get in. View all feedback.

It has a lot of parking space, a lot of seating space as well, but it can get very busy! So take your time. It was very nice to take a stroll after lunch and look at all the animals they have around the place. It's fun and perfect for a family's day out.
Very happy we arrived just after opening. Place got crowded very quickly. Service wasn't bad at all, food was ok except for both of our steaks were undercooked, and my friend had to send hers back, she asked for med well and it was rare in the center. They were pretty quick with the return, but being a steak place, we figured they would be on point with cooking the steaks. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere and the grounds around it made for a nice walk after dinner. Sunset over the lake was great. Would definitely go back if I was staying in El Paso.
A reasonable 40 minute drive from our hotel in El Paso. This is a tourist destination worth visiting. I wish we had arrived a little earlier to be able to see more of the ground during daylight. The food is off the hook delicious. Everything I had was excellent. Don't skip the coleslaw. It's good enough to be dessert. My steak was melt in your mouth delicious. I totally blew my calorie budget for the day but it was worth it!!! The pecan pie was served warm and the server was very attentive. This was my second time here and the first was 9 years ago. I was very pleased to see that they have not lowered their standards. I would definitely come here again.
I have heard from many people that this place is fantastic, I think maybe we just came on an off night. Everything was still alright, I just had much higher expectations. You can see a few of the issues from the photos below. The Ranch was beautiful. Really nice drive from the road up to where you park for the restaurant. All of the decor here was cool too, we walked around the restaurant after we ate and checked it all out and stopped into their gift shop to look around. Service was fine. Nothing exceptional but definitely not poor. Our server was a nice young lady. So on to the food. The Beef Ribs were terribly overcooked. When they got to the table there was barely any meat on them. If you know anything about beef ribs, this is not what you 'd expect, especially at a steakhouse settled on a ranch. We told the server we were upset and she did get us another rack. They did have more meat on them and less char, but still overcooked on the outside. Had we gotten the second rack first though, I would have been satisfied. The porterhouse also had a very hard cook on the outside, but being a large cut of meat that needs to reach a certain internal temperature (even though we only got it med-rare), I was willing to overlook that. The meat itself was good quality and I enjoyed the steak. The beans tasted good and the pineapple slaw was very good. Very different, but very good. We chose to skip on dessert this time around. I 'd love to go back someday and see if maybe we just caught a rough day for the team there. Sadly I can only report based on what we experienced though and that was a good meal.
I absolutely love this place! My husband and I visited on a Saturday for date night, and even though we had to wait an hour and a half, it didn't feel long at all because there was so much to do. We explored the gift shop, enjoyed a few drinks, and took a lovely walk by the lake. Once we were seated, we placed our order and the food was fantastic. I had ribs with a baked potato, and my husband had steak and lobster. Be prepared for a hefty bill, but trust me, it's worth every penny!
