The Grits were the base for a large number of perfectly seasoned shrimp and topped with a huge serving of sausage etouffee. One of if not the best rendition of SNG I have tasted (including in NOLA) in my travels. The amosphere has a speakeasy feel to it--old building, tin ceiling, ceiling fans, white table clothes, great artwork, and 20s jazz playing softly in the background! Love eating local!

I decided to skip the Interstate on my trip and stayed at Union Square Guest Quarters, where I went out to explore dining options. Just a block away, I came across this menu that caught my eye, and I'm so glad I did. The ribeye was incredible, cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly, just like the warm atmosphere of the city itself.
