Fayray's in El Dorado offers a mix of experiences that leave diners divided. Was Gerry n Donna G at Fayray's a mag?
Everything we tried was outstanding. The meatloaf comes with a unique garlic ketchup that really elevates the flavors. The shaved Brussels sprouts were fantastic as well. The filet was cooked perfectly... View all feedback.

What Liliane Berge dislikes about Fayray's:
Way over priced. Food was good. I cannot see why this place is so expensive. The food, service, and ambiance are about average. Nothing exceptional to explain the prices. This is my first time in Fayray's in several years. I'll try again in another several years. View all feedback.

This is a great place to eat. Unique food prepared on site. Absolutely the best steaks I've ever eaten.

Great shrimp and grits. Just a touch of spice. Wonderful place.

I had the roasted red pepper soup and the Shrimp'n grits. Both tastes amazing. The Grits were the base for a large number of perfectly seasoned shrimp and topped with a huge serving of sausage etouffee. One of if not the best rendition of SNG I have tasted (including in NOLA) in my travels. The amosphere has a speakeasy feel to it--old building, tin ceiling, ceiling fans, white table clothes, great artwork, and 20s jazz playing softly in the background! Love eating local!

This restaurant is consistently wonderful, offering fantastic food every time. The ambiance is ideal for business meetings or a romantic dinner.

It seems like the staff just doesn't want to be there. This was supposed to be the best place in El Dorado for lunch or dinner, which makes it all the more disappointing.
