California Fish Grill - El Cajon

To be honest, I don't usually eat seafood, so when my pescatarian friend recommended this restaurant, I was a bit unsure. However, the grilled chicken tacos were fantastic, and the portion size was impressive. The prices were reasonable considering the amount of food you receive. I'm not particularly fond of rice, but the cashier, Tanya, was incredibly helpful and informed me about my options. I was able to swap the rice for fries, which I had never tried with tacos before, and it added a delicious new flavor. Overall, it's a wonderful place with flavorful food, and I'll definitely be returning!

Always incredible! I was thrilled to discover that California Fish Grill has a location here in San Diego, providing a healthy dining choice compared to my usual options. My go-to dish is the Keto Shrimp Bowl, but this time I decided to try something new and refreshing. I ordered the Sea Bass with diced rosemary zucchini, white rice, and a side of grilled asparagus. It was absolutely fantastic, and the staff was very friendly!

As a first-time visitor, I was pleased to find the staff incredibly friendly. The food was surprisingly flavorful, and I was able to get all the sauces and sides I wanted at no extra charge. I have no complaints and will definitely return!

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean establishment. Everything we tried was delicious. The shrimp keto bowl had a lot of shrimp and fresh salad mix. The tacos were bursting with a delicious mix of ingredients. The Brussel Sprouts were really good as was the Fire Roasted Corn. Great portion sizes and many menu options. I highly recommend trying them.

Had a craving for fish and chips and decided to give California Fish Grill a shot. Great proportion size relative to cost of the plate. Had a friend with me that ordered the chicken sandwich and was pleased as well. Plan on highly recommending this place to anyone in the area with more of a fish pallette in mind. Friendly staff for a nice dining experience with unique fountain drinks!
