Beef 'n Bun Whistle Stop - El Cajon

Found this on urban spoon and decided to try it. Realized we'd passed several times before but never stopped. Boy are we glad we did this time. We LOVED the food! Didn't try the fries this time but we tried several shakes and burgers. I loved the banana best as it has real bananas in it!!! The burgers are not your preformed kind but instead were hand formed and were delicious. We can't comment on the state of the inside as we did the drive through but the food was great. Also saw they do breakfast so we will be coming back to try that.

Great old fashioned burger, creamy shakes and perfect fries. Our family of 5 ate for less than $35. The restaurant is a great local joint and super clean. One small complaint: the lady who was taking our order was very rude.
