Clean room, both dinner and breakfast. Well served and of very good quality, to be redone and absolutely recommend

The next day I receive a message from the property, whe... read more I make a reservation for an overnight stay in mid-August, the reservation is confirmed by the structure. The next day I receive a message from the property, where without further explanation I AM ASKED TO GIVE UP the reservation, but that if I had not agreed the reservation would have remained valid. I didn't want to give up the reservation, so I kept it and asked for explanations. Not only do I not receive any explanation, but MY RESERVATION STILL WAS CANCELLED, citing as a pretext an elusive credit card verification problem, a card which in over ten years of use and several dozen overnight stays has never given me any problems, and which specifically I also repeatedly used for other overnight stays in the same period in Italy and also in Switzerland. Are we joking?? I understand that I only booked for one night in mid-August and that probably then a more attractive opportunity arrived, perhaps for a small family who wanted to take a whole week's holiday, but this is called business risk. Either you really don't accept my reservation for just one night and maybe you risk having the room vacant in mid-August, or you accept it for just one night but then you have to leave it to me even if the little family arrives who would like to stay for a whole week. HIGHLY INCORRECT behavior as well as unheard of! Moral of the story, I had to find alternative accommodation (in Livigno in mid-August and for just one night), I fortunately found it, obviously at a higher price, but I had the difference reimbursed. Not only will you definitely never see me again, but I hope this review will warn as many people as possible. Obviously I am fully responsible for what I write, and everything is extensively documented and documentable by me. Goodbye
