I'm not generally a fan of the Coffee Club chain as I've had some pretty poor experiences. However, the Eight Mile Plains branch doesn't seem too bad. Unfortunately they are not consistent. I got a terribly weak coffee a while back. Today I had a smoked salmon and avocado stack which came on top some Turkish bread along with cottage cheese seasoned with dill, fresh baby spinach and a poached egg. It was surprisingly nice. The interior of this branch is also nice - spacious and modern. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but it is one of the better options in Brisbane Tech Park.
Actually I was pleasantly surprised with the Coffee Club branch at Eight Mile Plains. Agree with Satiety Society (below review) am not a fan of them either, however I like to give all a fair go. Apart from a mix up with our order I found the staff to be very pleasant. The mix up was soon rectified our coffee was good. No bitterness with the double shots (as is usually the case) the coffee was creamy smooth to drink. The shop is bright , airy clean
Discovered its location at last visit of Black Ink Espresso inside Technology Park. After I read Diana's review, I decided to give it a go. Dropped in this morning at it was not busy and I was the only table there. Ordered my flat white and a classic Ham Tomato Toasties without chips (I don't think my stomach can afford to eat so heavy). Coffee taste was not my flavorite and its was average. Toasties gained marks back. Even though it was so classic but I loved the texture of the toast bread and it matched well with the ham and tomatoes. Particularly the tomatoes really delivered a refreshing feeling to the brekkie.
You know what you're going to get when you visit a Coffee Club, generic cafe food and usually a good coffee.
I am still baffled how this place is still openLast time I visited was about two years ago.
