What Chester Hoeger doesn't like about Black Ink Espresso:
It has been around seven month since my last visit so checked it out again.Normally, it is very easy to find a parking spot outside this cafe early in the morning. It was so busy this morning so I hardly got a spot there.Walked in and it was quite busy inside so I immediately placed my order and took a seat facing the kitchen.Coffee came very quick. Serious about coffee here...no mochas in sight haha. Attended a meeting here with a group and they managed to keep up with the onslaught of orders well. It is probably a little noisy inside for a big meeting but you could go outside if not too hot Fairly popular option with great coffee. I don't know anything about coffee but my flat white was easy to drink and smooth.
Nice coffee and great food. Can't believe that I only found this local gem today. The flat white we had came with good crema love it. The omelette of the day was really tasty but not too heavy which actually surprised me because I haven't had good omelette for long time. I normally am not a chip person but I love their chips that came with my calamari. However the calamari was a bit too salty and the salad with it could have been better. Will definitely go back since this cafe is not far away and also they change their menu seasonly.
Actually came by this coffee shop after visiting The Coffee Club. It is almost directly across the road from it, however it is partially hidden in one of the buildings we would never have found it otherwise. The coffee was well done, very creamy smooth, just not enough of a hit for me, but that was my fault as I wanted to try it as it came so hence didn't order the extra shot. Bright airy shop with great outdoor space for the pooches a choice of sparkling water or plain -nice touch!
If you are looking for a great coffee, Black Ink Espresso is definitely for you. Excellent service, excellent location and of course excellent coffee. Would highly recommend stopping in for a coffee if you are nearby.
Written on their A-frame outside Good Food' Great Coffee' I couldn't agree more. Black Ink Espresso located inside a commercial area took me by surprise this morning The cafe has a minimalistic and spacious design. Furnished with wooden dining tables and white metal chairs, it sure gave a clean and crisp finish to the coffee shop. It was around 10am and the place was constantly filled with construction workers as well as corporate staff ordering and waiting for their morning coffee and feed.
