We were fortunate to get a table by the window with a lovely view of the river. The breakfast was mostly self-service, with a cooked breakfast prepared by the chef. The food was great, and the service was excellent, although I found the black pudding to be tough enough to use as a shoe sole repair! I wouldn't recommend waiting too long to visit.

During our stay in December 2021, we had several meals here, and each one was absolutely fantastic. The staff were always cheerful and helpful, making for an exceptional experience. A big congratulations to the entire kitchen and the broader team for their outstanding service!

Vegetarian options: I didn’t see anything explicitly labelled vegetarian or vegan (eg vegetarian sausages) but there were plenty of options (such as smoothies, fruit, nuts, muesli, cooked mushrooms/tomatoes/hash browns/eggs). We were asked about dietary requirements on arrival so it’s likely they would provide something appropriate if asked.
