It was q... read more We had a very delicious meal at Balata. There were 6 of us three adults and three teenagers. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was excellent. It was quiet on a Sunday evening in January and I'd expect it to be busier during golf season, although I doubt very much that would have negatively impacted either the food or the service. I would go back and would recommend it to a friend, but what else would you expect from a restaurant in a Sonnenalp venue?

Since we were on a ski holiday, it was too chilly to eat outside, but the views from inside were stunning. The patio seems like it would be a fantastic spot to dine in the warmer months. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, and both the appetizer and all of our entrees were delicious. We were very impressed with the service and the atmosphere; we're excited to make Balata a regular stop during our annual ski trips!
