Great atmosphere, but slow service, and also not very friendly. Food was good, but smaller portions. Drinks were unique! All in all a decent experience, with a lot of 'buts '.
I went to this place for a birthday dinner and it was VERY nice!! This atmosphere is really something else with the wood panelling from the floor curving up into the ceiling. The cocktails were exceptional and had my mouthwatering before I even took a sip (I ordered the scarlet kiss). The food was also quite tasty; I tried the lobster roll, burger, and cassoulet. I would say that the sides of these dishes however were unbearably salty... but the mains were great! I still would recommend this place to others to try out!
I loved so much how the server/bartender was still so upbeat and chatted with us even at the hour we arrived. You can really tell when someone loves where they work. Honestly we were not raving about the dishes we tried, but we loved that we felt like they were created by someone with a fighting spirit. The uniqueness of the tapas cannot be seen anywhere else (well, except their 'sister ' restaurants, which we have been to several times before we found out about this place). Our server also talked with us about how we felt about each item and accepted our comments with an open mind. We would be back to support this local business. Thank you!
Went during Edmonton Dining Week. The service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, bright, and welcoming. I had their lobster bisque set lunch and finished with pistachio ice cream. Everything was delicious. Hot things were served hot, and cold things were served cold. Plus, their house-made root beer was pleasantly unique and very tasty. I wouldn't be able to afford going there more than once a month, but it's a nice treat for affordably spoiling yourself with something different. Will definitely go again!
