Towne Pizza - Edmonton

I'm all for supporting local businesses but this one I'm staying away. Small portions and over priced. I called about my order being wrong and her response was I told you while you made the order, which if I was I wouldn't have order the donair. The poutine was small, for the price of it I was expecting something bigger. The Philly cheese steak pizza was a ground beef not steak! Was expecting to be satisfied but am very disappointed.

As Gordon Ramsay would say I am gobsmacked! The worse place for pizza. Ordered Philly steak pizza, Meat lover pizza and Towne platter.How to cheap out the ingredients while maintaining food cost?Oh I know put a few sliver of beef for steak pizza. Each slice of pizza only has 1 paltry slice of meat. Oh I 'm sorry not even a paltry slice of meat. A miserable and puny slice of steak that has gone through better days. May not even be a slice of steak at all. All I know there was in the pizza was onions not caramelized. Missing in the Philly steak pizza: sauteed Mushrooms, green peppers, and jalapenos.The 2nd pizza is meat lovers. Again... cheap out on the ingredients and meat. Only meat I see is small amount of bacon. Where are the ham, salami, pepperoni, and Italian sausage??Pretty much I 'm eating cheese pizza from both pizza.The only saving grace is the Towne platter to a certain point but the mozzarella sticks was the worse part of the platter. Mozzarella stick doesn 't melt. It is pretty much a chunk of mozzeralla cheese surrounded in dough.Like wow... this is the worse pizza place in existence. I tried this place before when this Towne pizza first opened. The pizza was meh and same as what I wrote about meat lover pizza. I did not review this place earlier because I wanted to give this place fair review and 2nd chance. Well it subverts my expectation.Hell I would be more satisfied going to Kokoriko for fried chicken. Even I recommend ordering pizza from Papa John or Dominos. At least Papa John 's and Dominos do not cheap out on the meat. You know it is sad when... a reviewer mentions to go to your competitor a few doors down instead of this place or go order pizza from franchises. If this is how you keep food cost down then congrats you did a good job. I cannot in good conscious recommend this place at all in fact stay away from this place.

Ordered the Philly steak pizza, no steak, ground bits of meat, not worth your time. They should've called it ground left over meat pizza. Skimpy on the toppings. Wife had ordered the donair with tzatkizki and they gave her sweet sauce. She called back to let them know she hates sweet sauce. They said they told her they only had sweet sauce. If she had known that she would've refused. Normally the 3 little ones can share a poutine. Opened it up and a single layer of fries at the bottom. For $8.50 Usually we get at least double the size at any other donair joint like roma's or basha's. Save yourself the time, money and disappointment on ordering from here. I try to support local small businesses but when it's this bad it's hard to do. I would rather eat domino's Philly steak at least they have Philly steak on their pizza. And for a poutine. Something as cheap and easy to come by as fries. To skimp on that. I don't see why. If I had known the poutine was that small I wouldn't have tipped and ordered another. Definitely will not be supporting this place in the future. Very disappointing.

We usually buy pizza on the weekends and have ordered from Towne pizza. Tbh only once we were happy with our order. The rest of the other times our order has been Inconsistently not satisfactory and we will not order from this place again.

The pizza and wings were amazing. My personal favorite are the Lemon Pepper Wings and the Philly Steak Pizza.
