Thai Express - Edmonton
Thai Express
Description
The recent experiences at a popular local Thai restaurant reveal a blend of positive and negative elements. Some patrons delight in the friendly service and accommodating staff, particularly those with food sensitivities. However, several visits have been marred by issues such as long wait times, lackluster food quality, and portion sizes that feel stingy for the prices charged. While certain dishes, like the chicken in the General Thai Mango, garnered praise, others, including the tom yum soup and fried rice, fell flat. This establishment faces a critical juncture, needing to address inconsistencies and improve customer satisfaction to maintain its loyal clientele.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my daughter. Both of us have dietary restrictions and the staff were quick to accommodate them. The prices were quite reasonable. My only issue was that the soup was served in a clear plastic takeaway container, which I'm not sure is suitable for hot soup.
This is one of my go-to "fast food" restaurants. I love that this new location is conveniently close to my house. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly. It's definitely a bonus!
I came to have lunch with my daughter at this restaurant. Both of us have food sensitivities, which the staff quickly and easily accommodated. The prices were reasonable and the only issue I had was that the soup was served in a clear plastic takeout container, which may not have been the best choice for hot soup.
Wow, the service here is fantastic! My kids made a bit of a mess by spilling their soda on the floor, but the staff promptly cleaned it up, even though they were busy, and did so with a smile and some encouraging words for the kids. The soda tasted a little flat, so they replaced the bottles at no charge. The food was fresh and delicious. I just wish I lived in Edmonton so I could come back!
