Food is excellent flavor and quality, service poorWe ordered the (spicy)pad thai and overheard another waitress telling the adjacent table it was VERY spicy so we quickly akeds her to inform our waitress to make our dish less spicy. When our pad thai arrived it was still very spicy and we were unable to eat it. Our waitress seemed unsure at first of our request for a milder dish and then just stood @ our table as we explained it was too spicy for us to eat. (We had taken a forkful each)She did not offer to fix the problem- she DID say she could pack it to go and we could order something else that would be added to our bill.Good customer service would have offered to REMAKE the dish @ no additional charge.Good food but we will NOT be back!
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Sweet Mango. Great value, good service and wonderful, flavorful Asian cuisine! If you love oriental style curry, coconut, zingy Thai or mild flavours served with humble respect, this is the place. You will not come here for the basic decor, but for the delicious food. I loved the Coconut Curried Shrimp dish so much all I remember is the other dishes complemented them well. We will be regulars!
Craving Thai food on a Sunday didn't give us many options so we tried this one. Limited Thai choices as the menu had a little of everything (Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and Thai). The sizzling chicken was delicious, very flavourful. The coconut lemongrass tofu was not so great. Much too sweet and the sauce was thick and gloppy, we scraped it off.
I used to enjoy this restaurant, but since they changed ownership, the quality has declined. The spring rolls were overfried and empty inside. The Szechuan beef lacked meat and was chewy like rubber. The ginger curry chicken tasted good, but the portion was meager for the price. I will not return and will warn my friends to do the same.
